Retorikken til IS er verdt et studium, man skal bare venne seg til de blomstrende, bloddryppende metaforene. Sheik Adnani som truet vestlige land og borgere i en tale 21, har mange «morsomme» uttrykk om blod: det finnes ikke noe som heter blod som er ulovlig å utgyte, hvis det er snakk om vantro. Enten de går i uniform eller ikke, enten de er sivile eller tjenstemenn. Deres blod er som hunders.
Kun én ting gjør blodet hellig: de troende.
Denne blodmystikken kan minne om nazistenes. Det er samme mystikk. Denne gang på religiøse kriterier, ikke biologiske. Men ummahen og Volksgemeinschaft har en del til felles. Og noen er utsett til enforcers, til å skille klinten fra hveten. De som er avfall skal bare brennes.

SITE reminds about the call by Islamic State (IS) spokesman, Abu Muhammad al-‘Adnani, to Muslims in Australia to carry out lone-wolf attacks against civilians.

‘Adnani’s audio speech from September 21, 2014, “Indeed, Your Lord is Ever Watchful,” served not only to rally IS fighters in Iraq and Syria against the U.S.-led coalition, but to mobilize jihadists in Western countries to execute operations abroad. He stated, for example, addressing Muslims and specifying those in Australia:

Do not ask for anyone’s advice and do not seek anyone’s verdict. Kill the disbeliever whether he is civilian or military, for they have the same ruling. Both of them are disbelievers. Both of them are considered to be waging war (the civilian by belonging to a state waging war against the Muslims). Both of their blood and wealth is legal for you to destroy, for blood does not become illegal or legal to spill by the clothes being worn.
“The civilian outfit does not make blood illegal to spill, and the military uniform does not make blood legal to spill. The only things that make blood illegal and legal to spill are Islam and a covenant (peace treaty, dhimma, etc.). Blood becomes legal to spill through disbelief. So whoever is a Muslim, his blood and wealth are sanctified. And whoever is a disbeliever, his wealth is legal for a Muslim to take and his blood is legal to spill.
