Salam Pax har fått en bloggerpris i Storbritannia og møtte Guardians lesere. Han sa en del interessante ting. Som da han ble spurt om alle terrorbombene. Hvem blir folk sinte på?

hi

from where we are, it seems that many of the terrible bombings in Iraq are aimed at ordinary iraqis rather than the occupying forces. how do people feel about this? are they resentful towards the US and Britain for causing this to happen?

also, do you think the coming election will make a change for the better, or will it just cause its own problems?

I will tell you about something that keeps baffeling me. whenever there is a bombing or an attack people will somehow manage to accuse the americans or the brits, it is quite surreal. There is a deep mistrust to the motives of any authority, this comes from years of being Saddam-ized, and the coalition forces are getting the same treatment now, everybody will start with the sentence «so what side will benefit most from causing all the instability?……it is the americans». We love a bit of conspiracy theory so altho it is very clear that no way the coalition forces have anything to do with the attacks they get rocks and stones thrown at them.

My theory: we wre just too frightened to actually say that here are probably iraqis involved in this because it just might mean we have internal trouble we hope we can avoid
