Overvåkingspolitiet mener det er rundt 1.000 voldelig innstilte islamister i Nederland.

About 1,000 young Muslims are believed to have turned extremist in the Netherlands, some by accessing Web sites on their own or through contacts made in Internet chat rooms.
«Under the influence of an ultra-orthodox interpretation of Islam, youngsters are secluding themselves from society and in the most extreme cases they become prone for recruitment for the jihad,» the AIVD Dutch intelligence service said in a statement.(reuters)
