Hans Rustad Irans utenriksminister Kamal Kharrazi sier landet ikke finner seg i å bli satt på plass av FNs International Atomic Energy Agency, IAEA, og har rett til å utvikle sitt atomprogram.
Iran advarer regelrett FN-organet mot å følge opp den sterkt fordømmende resolusjonen som Storbritannia, Tyskland og Frankrike har utarbeidet. Resolusjonen skal opp i det 35 land store rådet mandag.
«We will not accept any new obligation,» Mr Kharrazi told a news conference.
«If anyone asks us to give up Isfahan industries to change yellowcake into uranium hexafluoride gas or to give up heavy-water facilities in Arak, we cannot accept such an extra demand that is contradictory to our legal rights.»
