Fransk politi har i løpet av uken arrestert seks personer, fem av dem i forsteder til Lyon, for rekruttering av unge kvinner til islamistgrupper i Syria, skriver The Times. Politiet hadde en tid jaktet på den sist arresterte:

“This particularly dangerous individual played a very active role, in direct contact with the people arrested in the preceding days, in the recruitment and departure of several young women to Syria in recent months,” said [the interior minister] Mr Cazeneuve.

Et mottiltak iverksatt av den franske regjeringen mot den økende jihad-trafikken, er reiseforbud for personer som det er grunn til å tro vil drive terror i utlandet.
