En gruppe fra Black LIves Matter toget gjennom et velstående område av Beverly Hills i Los Angeles fredag kveld og ropte «eat the rich», «spis de rike».

Mange i Hollywood støtter Black Lives Matter økonomisk og det å ta til motmæle mot dem fører til sosial utstøting. Demonstrasjonen fredag kan få enkelte til å komme på andre tanker. BLM ser på dem som rike, ikke støtter.

Later, he tweeted a video of protesters in Los Angeles shouting “No justice, no peace! No racist police!” as they tore down an American flag attached to a building:

Demonstrantene ropte også anti-kapitalistiske slagord.

In another video, the protesters in Beverly Hills shouted, “Abolish capitalism now!” while they continued their march through the neighborhood:

Politiet var på stedet og foretok noen arrestasjoner. Generelt har politiet vært tilbakeholdende med å gripe inn.  Lørdag morgen var demonstrasjonen oppløst.
