A video from the incident shows several armed police officers hiding behind a car, and shooting a man at a tram stop in Schaerbeek. The suspect falls to the ground, dropping a rucksack on the tracks as police run over and drag him away from the tram stop. A third explosion caused a moment of panic in the area, followed by the sound of sirens. There is speculation it may have been a stun grenade. The entire square has been cordoned off, but the officers standing guard appear to be calm.
