EDL – ny demonstrasjon og Facebokangrep

EDLs Faceboksider blir for øyeblikket spammet med porno. De skriver på Facebok:

«We were alerted, last night, to the fact that Anon were going to spam all our pages with porn. A message was sent out to all admins to close their pages and as far as we are aware only one page got caught out. They failed miserably this time but here is a list of all pages that they intended to spam with porn so if your on any of these pages help your admins out by keeping an eye on them as they can’t be there 24/7 «

Den neste store EDL demonstrasjonen er planlagt den 7. september i Tower Hamlets i London. Tower Hamlets er blant de mest innvandrertette områdene i London med en muslimandel på rundt 35%. East London Mosque ligger i Tower Hamlets. Denne moskéen er forbundet med hatpredikanter.

Tower Hamlets er også hjemmebane for en forbudt ekstremistorganisasjon som kaller seg Muslims Against Crusades. Det har vært mange reportasjer herfra om overfall, Sharia soner o.l. Det koker under overflaten i Tower Hamlets og det gjenstår å se om politikere og politi tar sjansen på å la EDL demonstrere her.

Tower Hamlets is one of numerous areas in England – others include parts of Bradford, Dewsbury, Leicester and Luton – where Muslims Against Crusades, a banned extremist group that burnt poppies on Remembrance Day, has announced it wants to impose sharia law. Al-Muhajiroun, an Islamist group proscribed by the Home Office, is also said to be active here.

The vigilante patrols are the latest in a long line of incidents, which have included homophobic attacks and the appearance of stickers branding the area a “Sharia Zone” and “Gay-free”. Maajid Nawaz, chairman of the counter-extremism think tank the Quilliam Foundation, suggested last month that the “Muslim patrols” could be “a sign of things to come” as a pattern of extremism spreads across Europe.
