Nick Cohen fanger opp at han, Paul Berman og Christopher Hitchens er beskyldt for «rødskvetting» av Klassekampens redaktør:

My Norwegian friends and comrades have pointed out that someone called Bjørgulv Braanen has implied that Christopher Hitchens, Paul Berman and I are supporters of the Tea Party and opponents of the workers fighting for their jobs in Wisconsin. I am an opponent of Sarah Palin as is Christopher and Paul. None of us has ever written about the strikes in Wisconsin, but as a trade unionist I am most definitely on the side of the workers.
Mr Braanen goes on to say that like many others we are disillusioned with a sour and selfish left that cannot show solidarity with the victims of Baathism in Iraq and Islamism everywhere. In that at least he is right.
I gather that the Scandinavian Left is going through a tough time at the moment. If Mr Braanen is the best intellectual it can produce, I can’t say I am surprised.
