USA tror ikke lenger at Kofi Annan og Robert Mood vil lykkes med våpenhvile og FN-inspektører i Syria. Man har konkludert med at Assad ikke har tenkt å overholde avtalen.

100 inspektører er på plass inne i Syria og meningen var å øke til 300.

Men USA vil ikke rive teppet under Annan og lar ham fortsette til han trekker sin egen konklusjon.
