In Germany, police arrested three Iraqis in a series of raids on Friday and the federal prosecutor, Kay Nehm, said he believed they were planning an attack on visiting Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi.
Nehm told a news conference the arrests were made after police in southwest Germany intercepted a series of increasingly «hectic» telephone conversations suggesting an attack on Allawi was being planned. (reuters)
